Well it certainly wasn’t the best summer weather we’ve had but here at SCi we have defiantly been making the most of it, we hope you have too. September has already gone off like a rocket, with a successful Game Stars Live and the launch of Conflict: Vietnamon Xbox, PS2 and PC and Richard Burns Rally on PC.

Conflict:Vietnam Packshot Conflict: Vietnam, released on 3 rd September, has stormed the charts taking the No.1 spot, confirming the success of the already hugely popular ‘Conflict’ brand.

SCi Games is making a game based on the up coming Warner Bros. movie blockbuster ‘ Constantine’ starring Keanu Reeves and Rachel Weisz. The game is currently in development and set for release in February 2005 in tandem with the film.

Based on the DC Comics/Vertigo Hellblazer graphic novels. The supernatural thriller Constantine tells the story of John Constantine (Keanu Reeves), a man who has literally been to hell and back. When he teams up with sceptical policewoman Angela Dodson (Rachel Weisz) to solve the mysterious suicide of her twin sister, their investigation takes them through the world of demons and angels that exists just beneath the landscape of contemporary Los Angeles. Caught in a catastrophic series of otherworldly events, the two become inextricably involved and seek to find their own peace at whatever cost.

Battlestations: Midway was announced last week and has gone down a storm in the gaming press. Due out in Summer 2005 the action-based Console and PC experience centres on the crucial battles for control in the Pacific Theatre in World War II, from the devastation of Pearl Harbour to the epic Battle of Midway. Offering you a totally new approach to air, sea and underwater combat, the game accurately reflects the atmosphere and situation in the Pacific during 1942. Players take direct control of battleships, aircraft carriers, submarines and planes in a ‘free-control’ environment, with seamless switching between any of the units under your command: engage in dogfights with enemy fighters through flak-infested skies, utilise the silent attack of your submarine to unleash torpedoes on unsuspecting enemies, or command the awesome firepower of an entire carrier group.
