We often need far more information about the setup and specification
of a problematic machine, than the user can normally provide.
So to this end, we would ask that a DXDIAG report is provided
to us.
All a DXDIAG report does is tell us what Video Cards, Memory,
Drivers, Peripherals, Sound Cards, etc. exist on a given machine,
and from this we can often hone in on information provided and
provide a far more accurate response as to what problems may
be occurring.
NOTE – The information provided in this report DOES
NOT give credit card, bank or other such private details about
you or your machine so anything as such can be deemed safe.
In order to compile this DXDIAG report you need to do the
following…
Firstly click the RUN option on your Windows STARTBAR
At the prompt, enter DXDIAG, and click OK
Now you should see a screen similar
to this, now click the SAVE ALL SETTINGS button.
You may beasked to check if drivers are ‘digitaly
sgned’ ifthis is the case, answer YES.
Now save this TEXT file to a safe
place, attach it to an email, and send it to us with
a brief description of your problems.
